Terms & Conditions for Pet Care Services

1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of pet care services by Happy Hounds Hideaway LLC (“Service Provider”) to the pet owner (“Client”). By booking services, the Client agrees to these terms.

2. Services Provided

Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Pet sitting
  • Dog walking
  • Feeding and watering
  • Medication administration - pill or ointment form only
  • Overnight care

Specific service details, dates, and fees will be confirmed during booking.

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information regarding the pet’s health, behavior, and medical history.
  • Ensure pets are vaccinated, chipped and legally licensed.
  • Provide necessary food, medication, leashes, and any supplies the Service Provider does not normally supply.
  • Inform the Service Provider of any aggressive tendencies or special needs.

The Client is responsible for any damages or injuries caused by their pet unless resulting from negligence by the Service Provider.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services
  • Accepted payment methods: Venmo or Zelle
  • Additional charges may apply for:
    • Emergency visits
    • Extended care
    • Property damage over $50 caused by Client's pet.
    • Bodily injury to Service Provider or Service Provider's guests caused by Client's pet.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made seven days prior to scheduled booking.
  • Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee of $40.00
  • No refunds will be issued for early returns or unused scheduled visits unless otherwise agreed.

6. Emergency Care

If a pet becomes ill or injured while under care, the Service Provider may seek veterinary treatment if the Client cannot be reached. The Client wil provide preferred veterinary contact information. If information is not provided, the Service Provider will select a clinic dependent on the emergency care needed.

The Client authorizes emergency medical care and agrees to cover all veterinary expenses incurred.

7. Liability

While reasonable care will be provided:

  • The Service Provider is not liable for illness, injury, escape, theft, death, or damage caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
  • The Service Provider is not responsible for pets with undisclosed medical or behavioral conditions.
  • The Client assumes responsibility for injuries or damages caused by their pet to people, property, or other animals.

8. Photos and Social Media

The Client grants permission for the Service Provider to take photos/videos of pets during services for updates, marketing, and social media unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.

9. Aggressive or Unsafe Pets

The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if a pet poses a danger to staff, other animals, or the public.
